Is it Worth Spending ALL that Money?

From Juicy Couture to Louis Vuitton, all these high end brands sell their own style of shoes. But what makes them so uniquely special that they have to be so expensive? In my opinion, nothing. Besides the fact that Coach's footwear sometimes has the sparkling C's and backwards C's, there is nothing worth spending over $100 for. I have been able to find the same shape of heels or flats in other brands that only cost around $20. Although some people feel superior walking in their new Juicy shoes, I think they need to wake up and realize the economy is horrible these days. Recently I saw a five or six year old girl walking around with Juicy Couture flats. I really wondered if the parents even considered her shoe size would grow within the next year, and that they would have to throw away the shoes. There are plenty of replicas of these brands out there. If the need to have those C's on your shoes is gnawing at you, I suggest thinking more than 100 times before actually going and getting them (and if this post worked, not getting them).

  1. keadfgadfhlakd I agree.

What's so flattering about shoes (and purses) covered in brand names? Just to flaunt, "HEY, LOOK. I CAN AFFORD THIS!" ?!

Yeah, great use of your money.

  2. Haha, perhaps.
I think shoes are definitely more questionable than purses, though, because they get worn out and yeah - little kids in designer shoes bug me the most - because your shoe size changes!

  3. i definitely agree with you priyanka. if you REALLY need designer flats buy them at DSW where they're very cheap. and i also become thoroughly appalled when i see little kids with designer clothing.

  5. I hate the Coach flats because they're not super high quality nor very cute. I got my Valentino flats on sale for $300 from $600 -- why bother ever paying full price?

  6. i SO agree with the comment about the coach brand "C"s that are on so many of their products. it's fine to shop for designer products if you actually like the item itself, but to just buy an article of clothing because it's plastered with giant labels? yurgh. tacky.
